Description: The
building is situated in the middle of the historical centre
of Florence, where in the old times many noble families, such
as Strozzi, Tornabuoni, Pilli and Cavalcanti, had their
private houses. In the 13th century the palace was a tower
belonging to the owner's family, whose most famous member, the
great poet Guido Cavalcanti was Dante Alighieri's close
friend. They will be delighted to welcome you where once the
old "Accademia della Crusca" - founded in1583 and
responsible for giving birth to the first dictionary of the
Italian language - and will also be pleased to share their
Florentine home atmosphere with their guests from all around
the world. The house is
located in a quiet area of the historical heart of Florence, a
few steps away from Piazza della Signoria, Piazza Duomo, the
Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio. Luxury shops are just round the corner.
All
rooms, furnished with antiques, offer a panoramic view over
the center of Florence. Each one, with in-suite bathroom, is
equipped with mini-bar, satellite TV, telephone, internet
service, sound proof windows and air conditioning. Guests
also have at their disposal a cozy sitting-room, typical of a
private home.

Minimum
stay: 5 days
Booking procedure: 25% deposit is due at time of booking
which can be made by credit card. Balance due on arrival
and must be made in Euros or traveller's checks (2%
surcharge).
Arrival/Check In: Check in time is 3:00 p.m. or by
appointment, check out is
10:00 a.m. Arrivals outside of 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
has an additional 25 Euro surcharge.
Cancellation policy: In the event of cancellation, deposit is non-refundable.
If within 15 days of arrival, additional fee of 1 nights will
be also be charged.
