Apartment Description:  Romantic 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of Paris, on the border of the 3rd and 11th arrondissement, only steps away from the Place des Vosges, the opera house (Bastille) and all of the shops and restaurants for which the Marais is so famous. The Bastille Metro is also conveniently located nearby.

Approximately 80 sq. meters, this apartment recently restored in 2003 is for the connoisseur who enjoys being surrounded by fine antiques. Decorated by a prominent architect from Manhattan, the apartment is furnished with stately 18th century Swedish Gustavian, French furniture and Murano chandeliers.  Beyond the special collection of furniture and decorative arts, the apartment also features state-of-the-art appliances such as a Miele washer/dryer, Bosch kitchen appliances and a high tech German shower with abundant hot water and lots of water pressure. The old French windows have been replaced by top of the line soundproof French windows to make your stay more comfortable. In the living room there is a plasma screen television and a high quality DVD player. In addition to all of these amenities, the apartment also comes staffed with an excellent maid who is a long time employee of the family who owns the apartment.

The layout of the apartment caters to Americans in the fact that the master bedroom is extremely spacious and private. The small second bedroom includes single bed.  A single sofa bed is also available.  In the manner typical of Manhattan apartments, the living room and kitchen are combined into a room that enjoys a side view of the Place des Vosges and the bustling, fascinating life of the Boulevard Beaumarchais. This is one of the best rooms around for people watching and enjoying morning coffee. With as many as seven French windows opening out onto the Boulevard, this apartment is absolutely bathed in sunlight and exquisite views of French architecture and glimpses into Parisian life.  The apartment also provides the visitor with a spacious office that has an internet connection, telephone and fax machine to keep you in touch with home, thereby allowing you to concentrate on enjoying fabulous Paris all that much more.  NON-SMOKING only, please.

Arrival/Check In:  Check in time is 2:00 p.m., check out is 10:00 a.m. Keys to the apartment are made available at the Paris office, conveniently located nearby in the 7th arrondissement.

Cancellation policy:  If cancellation is more than one month prior to arrival, deposit is non refundable.  If less than one month, there is no refund. Clients are strongly recommended to ensure that they have suitable travel insurance arranged at the time of booking.
