Apartment Description:  The location of the apartment is one of the most requested in Rome.  Borgo Pio is a quiet, unique, pedestrians-only street that joins Saint Peter's Basilica to the famous papal fortress, Castel Sant'Angelo.  In Renaissance times it served as the Pope's private passageway to the main Church.

The apartment itself is a very nice accommodation - located on the second floor with No lift of a 15th century building which was restored in '02.  The apartment has a large living room with four-meter-high wooden ceilings and its floors are composed of a well-known Florentine tile called "cotto fiorentino."  The living room has a nice view onto the street below, Borgo Pio.  The dining room and kitchen are accessed through the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining room has a large table that seats six.  The apartment has three double bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own private bathroom with shower.

Minimum stay: 3 nights

Booking procedure: 25% rental deposit due at time of booking by credit card, balance requested on arrival and must be made in Euros. 

Additional fees:  Final cleaning fee of 45 Euro (approximately $74).  For apartments with A/C, additional charge of 10 Euro/day (approximately $16) between June to September.

Arrival/Check-In: Check-in time is 2:00 p.m. or by appointment, check out is 10:00 a.m.  Arrivals outside of 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. has an additional $35 surcharge.  Convenient airport transfer provided at additional cost - please contact us for latest rates.

Cancellation policy: Deposit is non-refundable for all cancellations.  If within 20 days of arrival, additional fee of 1 nights will also be charged.  No-shows will be charged 50% of total rent.  Clients are strongly recommended to ensure that they have suitable travel insurance arranged at the time of booking.

Holiday period:  20% surcharge during Easter and Christmas
