Apartment Description: The Daniela Apartment is neatly tucked away in a winding old cobbled lane in Trastevere, one of the most distinctive quarters of old Rome. Located on the ground floor, the apartment has a large glass patio-style door, through which residents enjoy sunlight and glimpses of neighborhood life all through the day. When evening comes or when everyone is out exploring the city, an outer door is closed to secure the apartment.
A five minute walk away is the Piazza Santa Maria where the local Romans may gather for evening promenades or where school children might start an impromptu
soccer match.
Daniela's portal of glass opens from the threshold into an attractive, contemporary-style living room with high-beamed ceilings and a small fireplace. Set apart, towards the front of the room, is a pleasant dining area. Three steps lead up to the tidy little kitchen, very well equipped including dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker. A hallway leading straight back passes a double bedroom (with a bed elevated on a loft platform) and full bathroom with tub and showerhead.
At the end of the hall is another room divided into two levels, a loft level above with a double bed, and a level slightly below ground, with a study area and a sofa bed for two. The steps leading up to the lofts and down are not difficult for adults in general, but are not appropriate for
the elderly, small children or anyone with difficulty walking or climbing. A second bathroom has Jacuzzi shower. There is a large basement room that can be used for extra storage if needed. The apartment is centrally heated and furnished with a washer and dryer, satellite TV with English channels, CD player, dehumidifier and telephone.

Minimum
stay: 1 week
Booking procedure: 60% rental deposit due at time of booking,
balance due 2 months prior to arrival. As this is
offered by private owner, please note payment must be made by
cheque. Security deposit of $500 also requested
at time of booking which is refunded after inventory is taken,
minus any breakage, extra heating and phone calls.
Holiday period: There is a 10% surcharge added to
rent during Easter and Christmas.
Arrival/Check In: Check in time is 3:00 p.m. or by
appointment, check out is
10:00 a.m. Arrivals outside of 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
has an additional 25 Euro surcharge.
Cancellation policy: In the event of cancellation, deposit is non-refundable.
If within 2 months prior of arrival, there is no refund.
Clients are strongly recommended to ensure that they have
suitable travel insurance arranged at the time of booking.
