Apartment Description:  The area around Via Giulia is a wonderful section to wonder through and get the feeling of daily life as carried on in a centuries old-setting. This is an elegant residential area of the city with it’s cobblestoned streets and antique shops, somehow remains peaceful giving the feel a Rome long since past.

This large 1,300 sq/ft apartment is on the second floor of a restored 16th Century building with lift. There is a foyer that leads to a bright living-room with two windows overlooking Via Giulia.  The high golden ceiling is a hand painted fresco with exposed wooden beams and the floor is terra-cotta. There is a comfortable double sofa-bed, 2 easy-chairs, a wood chest of drawers and a dining area.  There is a long corridor that leads to the night area. The bedrooms are internal so they are so quiet.  The first bedroom has 2 twin beds (joinable into a queen size bed) and a olive wood wardrobe.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed, a wardrobe, a dressing mirror, a chest of drawers and two chairs. Includes full ensuite bathroom with a bath-tub/hand-held shower, heated towel racks and it is tiled with sparkle ceramics.  There is a second full bathroom with a box-shower and heated towel racks. It is tiled with sparkle white & green ceramics.  The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove top, microwave, a double stainless steel sink and a marble kitchen-table with 2 chairs.  Amenities include telephone, TV, washing-machine, stove top, microwave, hair-dryer, iron, ironing board and independent heating.

There is also another very similar 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment in same building a floor away which can be viewed here, renting both would be a great option for large parties of up to 12 guests.

Minimum stay: 1 week

Booking procedure: 25% rental deposit due at time of booking by credit card, balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival.  Please note this payment must be made by bank transfer or cheque.

Security deposit:  $400 requested by cash or cheque on arrival and is refunded on departure after inventory is taken, minus utilities (avg. $6 to $14 per person/week), extra heating, damages and phone calls.

Arrival/Check In: Check-in is between 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM, and is arranged by appointment only.  Check out is 10:00 a.m.

Cancellation policy: Deposit is lost for all cancellations. In addition, 50% of the rental balance lost if the cancellation is less than 2 months before arrival. NO refund if less than 1 month before arrival. Clients are strongly recommended to ensure that they have suitable trip cancellation and interruption insurance arranged at the time of booking.

Holiday period:  There is a 20% surcharge added to rent during Easter and Christmas/New Years.
