Apartment Description:  On the upper hill of Trastevere, in this residential area born at the beginning of the past century, close to the famous "Villa Sciarra" -with one of the most beautiful park in the city - stands this charming, luminous apartment.

It is on the 4th floor (5th American) with NO lift of one of the nicest little "Palazzetto" of the area.  The apartment was the personal studio of a famous Dutch painter whose paintings are exhibited in the National Gallery of Toronto and the stained glasses windows in the living room were designed by him.

Well connected to the center of Rome as the bus stop is just outside the main entrance and it takes 10 minutes to get to Trastevere, 15 to the Coliseum and most other tourist sites.  The apartment has a large luminous living room with a quite large kitchenette completely equipped and one beautiful wooden loft with a large single bed. One bedroom with double bed, one bath with shower.  In the living room there are two comfortable single sofa beds and the room has a beautiful view onto the park below. Just outside the main entrance there is a breathless view thank to a delightful terrace overlooking the other side of the city with church domes and Roman monuments.  The furniture is modern and elegant with nice decorating solutions.  Dishwasher, washing machine, TV, stereo included.

Minimum stay: 5 nights

Booking procedure: 25% rental deposit due at time of booking by credit card, balance requested on arrival and must be made in Euros. 

Additional fees:  Final cleaning fee of 35 Euro (approximately $56).  For apartments with A/C, additional charge of 10 Euro/day (approximately $16) between June to September.

Arrival/Check-In: Check-in time is 2:00 p.m. or by appointment, check out is 10:00 a.m.  Arrivals outside of 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. has an additional $35 surcharge.  Convenient airport transfer provided at additional cost - please contact us for latest rates.

Cancellation policy: Deposit is non-refundable for all cancellations.  If within 20 days of arrival, additional fee of 1 nights will also be charged.  No-shows will be charged 50% of total rent.  Clients are strongly recommended to ensure that they have suitable travel insurance arranged at the time of booking.

Holiday period:  20% surcharge during Easter and Christmas.
